Great article about my home town (jaws)

Saw this great article about my hometown of Matawan NJ, I lived there for 26 yrs before moving to union beach nj. My fathers aunts grandfather was Stanley Fisher. If anyone knows the nj shark attack it's great history

LOL that happened almost 100 years ago and even to this day, people in UB, Keyport, Keansburg, Matawan, Aberdeen, etc. still scare their kids away from swimming in the creeks with the shark attack story. Sharks work a heck of a lot better to scare kids out of the creeks than the actual threats of Tetanus, Ringworm, Hookworm, Giardiasis, E. Coli, and god knows what else is living in the nasty, polluted creeks that empty into the bay...

Most of my friends and I, when we were really young in the 90s, grew up scared to swim in the creeks because they were filled with great white sharks that nobody ever saw.
