I have this algae growing in patches on some of the rocks (see image). It is bright green but not hairy. It easily cleans off with a brush. Current tank parameters are decent:
pH=8.1
Alk=10.5
Ca=440
Mg=1275
PO4=0.04
Nitrate=0.17
What is this algae? Any suggestions besides manual labor for control? Thanks!

Are you able to blow it off with a turkey baster ?
Appears to be green film algae or green cyano.

Thanks! A turkey baster will work, but you need to be forceful.

If it's a green cyano, then will the 'red slime' treatments also work here?
