Most likely. They don't swim much. They stay perched and will go back and forth on different perches. They don't eat much. Prob only fish I would consider for such a small tankWonder if we could do it in 3g?

Yours and @najer made me consider them. Now this little guy...Most likely. They don't swim much. They stay perched and will go back and forth on different perches. They don't eat much. Prob only fish I would consider for such a small tank
I have the perfect coral skeleton in my DT. He hasn’t had interest in perching on the rock in my QT.They really like perching on things. I would recommend something that he can perch on. They are usually found on sps. Branching leathers are a suitable substitute. Just what I observed
Prob because its not like sitting on a beachI have the perfect coral skeleton in my DT. He hasn’t had interest in perching on the rock in my QT.
Do the leathers mind him there?Yep looks like my little guy. They are awesome and not very common. @hllb it's very cute. Here is my little guy.
Nope. They may close up around it but always reopen. No harm has ever been observed.Do the leathers mind him there?
I don’t have any in my tank...yet lol. If he tried to perch in my Duncan it would probably never open again.Nope. They may close up around it but always reopen. No harm has ever been observed.
It will. They are a delicate animal and are not rough on the coral.I don’t have any in my tank...yet lol. If he tried to perch in my Duncan it would probably never open again.

Mine doesn't either. Being so small not much food is needed. That's a good thing. My yellow clown goby gets right in the middle it.Thought I’d give an update. Both fish are doing well. The goby is still shy but moving all over the tank now and eating. He still doesn’t eat aggressively but if something comes near him he grabs it. He is getting more active when he grabs the food.
