Green emerald crab eating flatworms???

Long story short I've noticed flatworms on a particular coral then a few on the adjacent coral so I started manually removing them. Bought a blue reef chromis (LFS said they work great for him) with little change, so I keep after them. Now the number of visible worms is minimal all of a sudden and the green emerald crab I now see perched on the 2 affected corals (he's usually a ghost during the day). He appears to be eating the worms. Has anyone ever heard of this happening? Am I crazy? Am I lucky?

He's hungry. Crabs are opportunistic feeders. Just a FYI, Reef Chromis aren't very good eradicators of flat worms, get a Yellow Coris Wrasse, Halichoeres chrysus or Melanurus, Halichoeres melanurus, Wrasse;) If you see one worm, there are hundreds more you don't see and they spread like wild fire! Treat quickly!!!
