Manually remove what you can. The crabs, hermits, and snails can help keep up with new growth, but they won't take all that down 🙂

I don't see coral so I would probably pull the rock and scrub it. Also with no coral in I would run the lights low or not at all. It won't avoid the uglies but IME it can help reduce them by allowing beneficial bacteria to populate first. JME with no science to back it up.

I would suggest to aim that powerhead up to agitate the water surface and help oxygenate the water. That much algae will deplete the oxygen levels. Clownfish don't normally hang out at the water surface like that, I am concerned they are not getting enough oxygen.

Yeah as stated you have to manually remove all the long strands. Nothing really eats that (except maybe a sea hare). Also looks like a new tank....what are your phosphate and nitrate levels at?

What are your parameters? GHA can be fueled by higher nutrients

Pull the main rock out and spray it with Hydrogen Peroxide, then manually remove the rest of it. Then test and focus on the nitrates and phosphates to get it in balance.
