Green hard film with my coralline

So my coralline algae is taking off! Love it but there is also a hard green film growing with it. Is that just part of the coralline before it turns? Had to scrape it to clean a section off. Any help would be appreciated.

Some better pics with more white light. I guess what I’m asking is, the green film that is over and growing with the coralline can only be scraped off. Is that the beginning stages of more coralline?

Yes normal! Heard some say green before it turns and some say a form of green coraline. Not sure which but positive it’s no problem. I scrape off as well! Looks like progressing well!

Thanks for the comment. I have heard that coralline out competes other algae’s so I find it weird that green film and purple coralline are growing together. But… that green film is harder than the green film I’ve had before

Yes I find odd but certain the hard green is definitely a different algae then the film. I use mag float to eliminate the film every 2 to 3 days but every now and then I need to get out razor scraper to get the hard green stuff off. Along with the purple coraline
