Have you by chance poked it with something? See if retracts. When i zoom in cant see enough detail to make any judgment.

I have not tired poking it yet. I will see if I can use my wife's camera and get a better picture. That photo was taken from an iPad. Thanks.

This is the most detailed photo I got. It is with only the white LED's on. When I bumped something against it it did not retract.
