I got this little guy on Monday and he doesn’t seem happy. I don’t have another tank to put him in. Any suggestions on what to do? He has been open and moving, but this is the current state. Thanks

Is it a strain of BTA, or a Condylactis type?
Condy. He’s fully extended now, but every day has been drama. I’m hoping he finally settles and calms down. His stressing out is stressing me out.

If it's a Haitian (Condylactis), it's a Caribbean anemone, and we see them here in the Keys. They're usually tough, but they move around and puff up and deflate a lot in the first week while they settle. Make sure it isn't near a powerhead intake, test salinity, temperature and alk, and keep things steady instead of changing a lot at once. Offer a small piece of meaty food once it's open again. If the mouth gapes wide or the tissue starts to fall apart, take it out. If you have a clear photo of the foot and the whole body, that would help confirm what it is.
