GREEN torch coral question.

I saved a torch from a LFS, it was a 4 head torch and once i bought it;it only had one head. Now the question is at the the mid way point of the coral seems to be cracking open. Looks like someone cut it open. Does this mean its about to grow a new head. Ill have to post a picture once i get back to the house. There is also some type of worm growing pretty fast on the side of the coral. I posted a picture last month of the worm and now its alittle bit bigger now.

OK, it will be in another 3hrs. it really looks like a clam opening

Alright you can see the worm, it looks like the letter b. right beside that there is a cut or a opening on the coral. Idk what this is. If the worm is making this happen or the coral is getting another head/body. idk
