Hello everyone!

My name is Justin and I live in the Tampa Bay area in FL. I figured it was finally time to create a build thread. This is my first saltwater aquarium! I always wanted one as a kid but my parents told me it was too expensive. Now that I'm "grown up" and I've down a lot of research, I decided to take the plunge.

Aquarium, Equipment, Media, and Setup:
Waterbox Cube 20g
In-Tank media baskets for chambers 1 and 2
Eheim 75W heater
MarinePure 1.5 sphere bio balls.
Current USA Nano Reef Orbit IC w/ E-Flux wave pump loop.
CaribSea "Live" Fiji Pink sand
Dr. Tim's One and Only
Tunze Nano Scraper
RedSea test kits ( I like the quality)
Tropic Marin Pro Salt
Tropic Marin All- for-Reef
ARC Purple Helix Coraline Algae

Scape:
Marco Reefsaver Rock
E-Marco Mortar to bind joints
Dry sand to "hide" mortar joints

Livestock:
Halloween hermit
Blue eyed hermit
Brown Button Polyps
Red Mushroom
Mint Star Polyps
Hollywood Stunner Chalice
Blood Sucker
Ultra Ricordea
Hawaiian People Eater
Hawaiian People Eater mixed frag with unknown zoas (need help identifying)
Large Sakura Sunrise colony
Eagle Eye
Unknown red zoa frag (need help identifying)

More to come

Right now everything is just at the bottom and I will start moving them slowly toward their final locations over the next few weeks. Everything is looking very healthy and fully opened minus the Blood Suckers. I might need to move them to a new spot.

Here are some photos of the setup:

I will have some photos up of my live stock as soon as my camera battery is done charging.

Noticed this little guy today during a water change. Based on research, the Asterina can be a pest and eat zoas or it could be just eating film or coralline algae. Because I'm still trying to establish a decent amount or coralline, I decided to go ahead and pull the little guy out. I'm suspicious there are more but I haven't seen any so I'm still on the look out.

Good news and bad news with my build. I will start with the bad news.... I looked into the tank this morning and noticed my large zoa colony has some aiptasia. Found 3. I immediately pulled the rock out and put it in a bowl with some tank water. I did a fresh RODI dip to see if I could get them to flinch and release their foot but no luck. I noted where they were and put some superglue over the area. I'm going to get a emergency quarantine tank set up to observe over the next week or so. I don't want to get rid of the colony but I don't want aiptasia at all.

Good news, is I got a major score of corals from the @Living Reef Orlando live sale last weekend. All are acclimating to the new tank and will have some photos once they open up.
Below is my haul:

So nothing too crazy by means of an update but just been admiring my new corals. My favorite has to be the Superman Rhodactis. It truly is beautiful.

Add to the clean up crew. I got a juvenile pincushion urchin, another Halloween hermit, two dwarf trochus snails, and another blue eye hermit.

Jeff the Halloween hermit. He immediately moved into a new large shell lol:

Yondu the blue eye hermit:

My new favorite, Lurch the Urch:

Then the OG Jason the Halloween hermit still making his presence known.

The carpet nem moved in and went in one of the rocks at the back of the tank, I feed him some shrimp once a week but he is pretty hidden most the time

Nice build.
what fish you planning to have?
Thank you!

I going to be adding fish in the next few weeks just need to take some time off work. I'm looking to get 2 clowns and a yellow watchmen goby. Clown fish are just fun to watch and I really love the watchmen goby. They just look so cool.

With tank parameters in check and stable for 6 months, I added a new inhabitant. I picked up from the @TCK Corals live sale a awesome rainbow BTA. I really love watching it move in the flow. Seems really happy in his spot. Lurch the Urch photo bombing...

I've realized my light isn't cutting it. So I upgraded to the AI Primed 16HD. I'll be putting it on today.

My nem split which was cool to see. I've been feeding it a little here an there. Lurch the urch is also still bulldozing he way through my tank. And my red mushroom I noticed was reaching pretty high one day which is odd. I've never seen it do that before.

I created a new piece of rock work to add more corals too. Please ignore the algae on the side. It was a long work week... I got some new corals to add and a few rock flowers to add as well. I just set up a new tank at work so some of the corals I got will be going to that tank.
