I have had a 55 gallon tank for about 3 years and then had a tank leak and temporarily moved my livestock to another aquarium for a few months. In that time I lost almost all of my sps and a bunch of Lps corals. Now I am in the process of finishing my basement and have set up my new 210 gallon aquarium.

Hi!! Do you happen to remember the source of where you got your Tracy Morgan gorgonian? I’ve been looking for them for a while now.

Thanks so much,

I have battled different types of algae and increased phosphates and nitrates and lost a bunch of corals. I have also battled ich and lost some fish. Now over the last month or 2 everything finally seems to be doing really good both fish and corals. Alkalinity has. Even pretty stable around 7.6 calcium around 550 magnesium around 1200. Phosphates have been reading about .01 and nitrates still a bit high at 20-40

Here are some updates to my tank. I lost some fish from ich. I waited a couple of months and was then able to start adding some new fish. My biggest problem right now is I have high nitrates which I believe has caused some of my Lps and sps to die or just not look as good. All my soft corals and my anemones seem to be happy. I have added I replaced my jebao dosing pump with 2 Kamoer dosing pumps to dose calcium and alkalinity. I added a bio pellet reactor and a diy algae turf scrubber.
Current water chemistry
Alkalinity. Stays about 8.0
Calcium around 410
Magnesium 1230
Phosphate .09
Nitrate 65 down from 75+

You have a harlequin shrimp with a Niger trigger ?? I have a feeling some of those shrimp will eventually molt and never return lol. Keep his belly full. But real nice tank , hope to do this with next tank a real true mixed reef!! Looks great and good growth
