Prototype is almost perfect. Made some small tweaks to the sleeve to make it a little stronger and improve printing, but overall I'm really happy with it!

I'm now able to feed nori without taking the mesh cover off the tank and without getting my hands wet. The fact it looks pretty cool in the tank is just a bonus. Mission accomplished.

Looks great. Now for marketing purposes make sure to get a tang picking at it in the pic.

This is amazing. I'd easily pay for something like that

Got back from a week long trip to visit family for the holidays to find... absolutely nothing wrong with the tank! Really happy with how all my planning around automation paid off. It's nice to not feel handcuffed to the tank.

Took advantage of two sales this weekend and have some coral coming. Finally got my hands on some ruby xenia for the softie section, some pink branching cyphastrea, plus tons more. Next update should be picture heavy!

Even after an entire week to get used to it my Foxface is still too skittish to use the feeder while I'm by the tank. He's convinced it's some sort of trap. If I'm far away he'll eat from it fine! So here's the Angel getting some greens.

Great looking tank u got t there I like your way of thinking about the Box with your 3-D printing. Do you have any pictures of your mangrove Box I was also thinking of putting them in my new IM INT tank.Did u put any Subtrate in it?

Here's the box now. The substrate is miracle mud mixed with regular sand 50/50. I just recently trimmed them back a bit, so they look thin. I do have to regularly pull bubble algae out or it starts to choke out the roots, you can tell because they get all dramatic and drop leaves.

The other tip I'd give you is that if you start with sprouted mangroves, make sure they're very slowly acclimated to salt water over at least a couple weeks. I killed a couple dropping them directly into my tank from online vendors because they grow them in freshwater. If you start with unsprouted seed pods, you can go straight into the salt water.

Well the Trident just paid for itself. My all-for-reef had run out and I didn't even realize it was getting low. The ALK alert (and flashy light) let me know something was wrong before it dropped too far. Whipped up a new batch and dosed some extra to catch up.
