grounding probe

What brand grounding probe should I get? Where can I get one from? How many of u actually use one? Thanks everyone.

I made my own out of a stainless steel bike spoke and wired it to the copper plumbing in my apt. You can also get titanium bike spokes.

so how did you do this just wrap some wire around the spoke then wrap it around your copper plumbing

I was looking into buying one of these to. Is there ant name brand's...not really into the DYI..

Pretty much. Strip some of the wire wrap it around the bike spoke. Make sure if it's copper wire to have the bike spoke far enough out of the water so the wire doesn't make contact with the water. Wrap it with electrical tape then run the other end of the wire to a copper pipe in the basement. Sand the pipe a little so the wire makes good contact with the pipe. Wrap a stripped section of the wire around the pipe a few times and tape it on. Fyi it cost me like 2 bucks to make my probe.
