Hi all,

Pretty new to SPS.

I'm getting some mixed sigals on whether I'm seeing growth or burnt tips.

Could someone please tell from just looking at the pic? Or what I can do to tell? I can see some really small polyps on the white if I look closely.

They are bit whiter than the pic shows.

Salinity: 1.025
temp: 25.5 C / 78 F
Phos: 0.03 - 0.1 having a difficult telling exactly with salifert test kit
Calcium: 450
ph: 8.4
Alk: 7
Nitrates: 0-1

Regarding Nitrates, I'm trying to up them. Not sure if that could be causing the white tips?
Currently running ATS opposite to display lights, think if I cut the ATS lights by a couple of hours, it might up the Nitrates.

Thanks all!

White tips on digis is what you want to see, it looks great! Just in my experience the easiest and most controllable way to raise nitrates is to just dose it. NeoNitro has worked for me.

likely growth; digis don't have polyps on the tips of their branches
