GSP Regeneration or Dying?

I can’t get gsp to grow. But I can grow literally everything else. Zoas, sps, plate corals, clams

Wanted to cover my back wall with gsp. Nope. Didn’t grow at all.
i weirdly have trouble with toadstool. i have a suspicion my peppermint is attacking it at night.

Gsp grows like algae. it can live thru anything. If it is dying id say it’s not your no3 or po4.
What’s your total gallons , fish , light you currently use etc . Id stop doing anything and test day to day. Check salinity. Also things dying will raise nutrients
Salinity is 1.025

It’s just a 20g H tank. It’ll be 3yrs old in May. The light is a coralife New Spectrum nano light 12-18”. I’m window shopping at the moment until after rent. Only residents are a single clown, dwarf crabs, and two snails. Nothing significant.

I just wanted to update. I did a ton of research on possibilities. I went online and the city water is 0.91ppm of chloramines.... So, I thought I would double dose Prime. My hammer decided to come out fully today. I figured it was due to the new circulation pump being too rough with it but we'll see if the GSP makes a turn around or not. It's still here but barely. I thought it was interesting that the hammer came out full force after adding prime so maybe the pump wasn't the problem?

Is it gone? The meaty part is food from fish.

Does anyone know if corals release toxins of some sort when they die? The GSP died and now my hammer coral closed up tight.

No, it’s RODI but where I get it from doesn’t use chloramine filters on their system.
If they use quality carbon filters then a special chloramine filter isn't needed. My water has chloramines in it and my carbon filters break it down just fine.
