Hello all, would anyone give me tips on how to raise a green star polyp coral? I have a 10 gallon cube and would love to get one. Thanks, Bryce

Not really any tips, its one of the easiest corals of all. They require reef-like water parameters, a reef light, flow, and some nutrients.

How old is your tank? What are the parameters? What type of light do you have?

GSP is about as easy as they come by

Just make sure you have a reef tank that is suitable for coral (proper lighting, flow, and parameters)
Also, keep in mind GSP will spread like crazy, so either have it isolated in your tank or be prepared to trim it when it gets out of hand

Don't go crazy on reef LED lighting if you're only going to keep GSP. Just make sure you have good flow and keep parameters consistent. I would include an ATO.

The reason why I ask is that about a year ago I had a frag and it grew a little beyond its disc plate but didnt do much other than that, only grew about a few millimeters a month whiles others said they grow an inch a week
