After a move, full tank wipe out (I will never move tanks in February gain), 2 year break, COVID-19, and a 1.5 year long house remodel, Reefer-S 850 G2 dressed in white is ordered. Pray for me, as this is the largest reef I have ever attempted.

Equipment Update as of 01/12/2023:
Tank: Red Sea Reefer S 850 G2
Controller: Apex A3 Pro
Rock: Pukani + Tonga mix
Sand: Fiji Pink
Skimmer: Reef Octopus Elite 220 INT
Return Pump(s): 2x Vectra M2
Heater: BRS Titanium 600w (Apex controlled)
ATO: Pump driven from mixing station on a timer (going simple here) to the read-sea float valve
Lights: 2x Kessil AP9X

Sorry to hear. Looking forward to the new build
Thanks, it's all good, it happens, and we had to do construction on the house anyway, so it was the right time to take a pause. Tank was actually already delivered, I am just waiting for RedSea to send out some replacement parts, and I will start posting the build.

Not a lot of progress as I've been busy working on the water system. Scape is complete and in the tank (will post a picture soon). Going to wash sand this weekend and add to the tank. Hoping to finalize major equipment that's left and order this weekend.

Good luck! Following this thread with interest as I am debating between the Reefer XXL 750 and the Reefer-S 850. I really like the idea of a Eurobraced tank (Probably the biggest selling point of the -s 850) and the larger sump in the 850, but trying to decide if I want to pay the $1600 premium over the 750 XXL. Then again, this will be my "10 year tank" so I want to do it right.

Thanks... Eurobracing is what sold me on it... but there are additional upgrade also that I thought were worth it. And thanks for the poke, makes me post an update...

2/28/23 progress update:
* Tank is cycled, up and running, first 4 inhabitants are in. They are 2 Fire Shrimp, Cleaner Shrimp and an orange leg crab.
* QT tank is also up and running, and fully cycled. 3 Purple Tangs + 6 Lyretail Anthias are going to be first scaled/ scale-less permanent residents.
* Next on the project list is finishing up ATO, wiring, algae scrubber and skimmer.
