Sweet! A nice old open-back. If you were around here I could tune it up for you. Looks like you need a new drumhead as well. If you aren't going to play it though, it looks good as-is.

image.jpeg Rescue guitar! It's a seagull 6 with Spruce top. I can't find out much info on it but it has have some age on. This dude was covered in 15 year old stickers. Not the nicest acoustic but after some tweaking it's a great sounding guitar. The top is pretty worn from some odd abuse and the stickers were on there so long it has tan lines. This is going to be a great camping guitar.

I need to figure out what the back and sides wood is.

Really like that Ric Mushroom Boy but I think it's defective- it has only 4 strings. ;) j/k
Is that an Ampeg hiding behind it?

Thanks SirMilo. It seems to work ok with just 4 :p Yeah, that is an Ampeg back there (BA500). I've since swapped it for an SVT with an Eden 215. It sounds pretty good

How do you like that Bogner? My buddy is thinking of getting one.

I really like the Bogner and it sounds great with almost every amp i've hooked to it other than the VHT, which wasn't totally unexpected due to the huge bottom end of the KT88's.
It's roughly 15-20% shorter, solidly built, and is more manageable to haul around than a 412. It sounds bigger than a 212 but it's a double edged sword, depending on the amp as mentioned above. As long as your buddy isn't running a Fryette built KT88 amp, I would definitely say it's an option worth checking out although an older model OS212 may be preferred over new. I'm under the impression that the newer models have been coming with the chinese made V30s, which may or may not matter to him.

Decided I needed an acoustic 12 string. Found this ugly dude online and rolled the dice. It looks 1000x better in person. It's almost black in certain light. I've always wanted a Guild acoustic and after setting it up it sounds and plays good. It's an 81 and has some fret wear so it doesn't play like a Gibson but the neck is very straight so I think I'm gonna get it professionally refretted. I have a thing for older guitars that you don't see everyday and this is right up my alley. Made in the USA!
