Hey guys I was cleaning my sand and moving my rocks when I noticed something moving look like a warm then again a baby cut umber I snapped a pic of it plz tell me what this is and what they do ASAP

It's a bristle worm. They eat detritus and are beneficial members of the cleanup crew. :)

Wait a sec I just read that you cleaning your sand IMO stop there is life in there that your tank can use as it is a new set up I think from your other post

When in doubt throw it out . I personally get rid of them they can get out of hand but some like them if it is a true bristle worm

They are worth keeping in my opinion. Plus, since you found one, you have many more. You'll never get them all out.

I have hundreds of them in my deep sand bed on my 180. Every once in a while, I will see some snail shells right near a frag or rock. That's when I pull the rock to find the worm. If they're big enough to eat snails, they're outta here.
