Picked up a rather big shipment of coral today.

Considering these pics are an hour after they went into the tank...the polyp extension is great...there were 2 dead corals...but considering they shipped directly from Indonesia not too bad.

If you have a rotary disk sander it makes quick work of the plexiglass when u cloud it up

My air conditioning at my house went out last week so I borrowed my best friend's chiller, which had been out in his shed for a while. It wasn't working so we took it inside a few nights ago and disassembled it and found this hitchhiker. My friend, who is scared of snakes nearly created a new front door on my house.

While I was working today cutting hair my wife gave me a frantic call. Our Sargassum trigger, given to us with like 10 other fish a couple of days ago by a local reefer, jumped 4 feet from our display and into my rodi barrel when she came into the house. He is still shy and I assume he startled when she entered the house. Luckily she heard the splash and rescued him from his self imposed freshwater dip...so after work I stopped by lowes and got some mesh used to keep birds out of the garden and some screen frames.

Here's a couple of the new fish.

Been a while since I've updated but anyways, added an apex, and upgraded my calcium reactor with a carbondoser and have a brushless 10-600 rpm masterflex on its way to me, as well as adding an algae scrubber yesterday.
