Gyre maxspect xf250 VS Icecap 3k gyre

Except the price and the Max can control 2 pump. what are the different between the 2?
anyone have the icecap 3k gyre who can give some review on this product?
also for 150 gallon tank, 48x30x24 " is one pump will be enough?

They are very similar. I had the Gyre 150 and decided to use the ice cap 3K and I prefer the ice cap and the new display. It has been trouble free to me . Not the quietist at pulse mode but reliable

I’ve used both. Far all intents and purposes, they are the same. Pretty sure much of the programming is analogous. Output is similar. Just quite a bit cheaper, obviously.

I have a 150gal with a mp40 and xf150 on one end vertical mounting and a xf250 on the other side vertical (overflows take up too much room to go horizontal). The 150 is left at 90 or 100% nonstop and the 250 goes through quickly k razo up and down. It's ok for flow but honestly I'd prefer more. Was thinking of getting a 280 for one end

They aren't as quiet as I hoped.. can certainly hear the 250 ramp up and down and it's not even at full output. Maybe 70% I think

I heard that they need to be under 50% to be quite, not sure if it true but it make sense. less load on the motor.
