Greetings! I'm new, and what better way to get started, than with a 120G Peninsula, ay? My current concern is addressing flow, inside the tank. Plans for the tank is to be a mixed reef, LPS dominant (no softies), and perhaps a few carefully placed SPS (in due time). A brief description of the setup: The responsibility of flow within the 48"x24"24" tank, rest on the shoulders of 2 Maxspect Gyre XF-330's. My current placement is 1 on overflow and the other on opposite end, Orientation is horizontal and depth is just below water surface/1" or so below weir teeth. And rockwork is centerlined, highest point at overflow, with gradual decline to far end.

Now, on to my flow schedule and where I could use some feedback. I'm playing around with schedule ideas in Excel, before I go plugging it into the controller, and this is what I've came up with so far, based on what I've learned from this wonderful forum. From what I understand, LPS prefer turnover rates of around 20x-40x (correct me if I'm wrong here). Also, they don't like to be blasted directly, nor hit by flow in only 1 direction all day. And finally, I learned that it's very important to create turbulance at various points, to help suspenddetritis, to aid in guiding it into the overflow, Please share your thoughts, regarding the schedule below, so I know if I'm on the righttrack or if i need to start over with a clean slate.

Important Notes:
*Return line flow, is not factored in.
*"Pump "A" is located on the overflow box, facing far end.
*"Pump "B" is located on opposite end, facing the overlow.
*Time Format is Military Time, to fit the controller's schedule format with "00:00"marking midnight
*Time fram of 19:00-19:45 is purposely set to "0%" for both pumps. This was a tip from "Mr. Saltwater Tank", in one of his videos. This time is designated for photos as well as time to allow fish and other livestock the freedom to explore areas that aren't typically accessible, due to high flow. Also, comes with the added bonus of fish being able to pick off algae or any other things from the powerheads, w/out getting blasted. Some flow would still be present from the return line.

Welcome to R2R!

Your questions are a little beyond me but someone on this forum should be able to help you.
