I wanted a separate dimmer for the white spectrum and did it.
** Do this hack at your own RISK - USE Gloves when touching controller

I used a PWM motor controller board available on Amazon rated for 12v.
Make Sure your not applying power while doing this hack.
It's a little strange that the Black wire coming out of controller is +12 volts and colored wires are LED ground. PWM Mosfets work by switching on / off on the negative side.

1. Gently pry off controller cover bottom off, keeping controller buttons face down.
2. Desolder RED Wire
3. Attach New RED Wire and insert it into the Ground input (-) on the PWM board.
4. Wire a new BLACK Wire to controller being care full not to unsolder pre-existing wire.
5. Run new BLACK Wire to PWM input + Voltage terminal.
6 Attach a new RED wire to the PWM Ground Output (-).
7 Solder PWM output RED (Ground) Wire to RED wire going to light.
8. Apply electrical tape to PWM module and soldered RED wire to light or use heat shrink tubing.
9. Push controller plastic controller bottom back on.
10. Enjoy...

Wire Glossary
Controller RED out to light Negative White Spectrum
Controller YELLOW out to light Negative Blue Spectrum
Controller BLACK out to light +12v (Shared by Blue and White Spectrum)

If you want a variable adjustment for Blue Spectrum just substitute Yellow Wire for RED wire going to PWM controller and coming out.

you don't think it effected the light at all? like mabey now it could break sooner or burn hotter sound interseting though might try on an old one I have

No since The PWM board runs off the output of the light controller there's no chance it could overdrive the LEDS.
