I wouldn't trust these, in that case. You'll at least need to get saltwater kits. Also, Salifert is pretty reliable. Not too expensive. But twice as much as api.

Do I need some bone cutters for thatI'd leave it there. they do not like a lot of light. Until you accilmate them to it. Always start low with new corals. Raise them up a few inches if it looks like they are reaching for more light.
You may need to remove the other empty head so algae doesn't take over and grow on the living head.
