hammer coral problems?

Has anyone ever had a bubble come out of there hammer coral.

I have never seen anything like that... it could be a worm or type of algae. I would suggest dipping it and seeing if that takes care of your problem
 
Yea it happens every now and then and I believe it's because a new head is trying to form in a clustered area I "assume." I even have a blasto with a bubble with multiple heads on the bubble.
