Hammer Coral

I picked up a Hammer Coral and I would expect him to be open more then he is. All my parameters are good...

220 Gallon Tank
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5-10
pH 8.2
CA 480
Alk 8
Salinity 1.024

I have tried him in all levels of flow and light and he seems to look the same no matter which one he is in...

About a month and a half to 2 months

Do you know you le phosphate levels. Mine is in the middle of my rock work. It gets light very random flow.
