I've got a small hammer frag and it has started to grow something from it l, can anyone tell me what it is growing from it if they can.

Not sure exactly what I'm looking at lol
Is it the stringy algae to the left?
 
yes the stringy things on it. Thats the only sign of it in my tank
 
Pull the piece back out, it's called bryopsis I think. There are ways to get rid of it but since it's a little bit and probably came with the frag take it out and cut or pull it off. It will get out of hand quick so I hear. Then just keep an eye and make sure it won't grow back.
 
Either Bryopsis or from the pictures could be aptaisa . Either way it should be removed.
