Hammer growing? Also aptaisia?

So I was going to ask if this hammer was spawning new heads and when I snapped the photo I saw this little guy on the base... Will the hammer win this fight? I'd rather not disturb the hammer but perhaps I could pull him and just super glue the mouth of it? Also I just scrubbed the glass near him which is why it shriveled up and showed me the base at all

Remove the hammer, scrape off the Aiptasia, rinse it good with tank water, return to the tank.

Thanks. I pulled it and put a tiny dab of glue there just to be sure I got it all. Then put back in same spot. It seemed to like the spot. Appreciate the response and good advice.
