I was using a baster to blow off the rocks and it caused some of the tips of my hammer coral to blow of, it’s been looking healthy but it doesn’t seem like that should have caused pieces to break off ? Are there supplements I can give it to make it healthier? What might be causing it to shed ? My alkalinity has been on the low side 7.4
I’ll check the calcium and magnesium later
How do you raise up your alkalinity?

Reef Roids, ReefEnergy AB+, Nyos Coral Nectar, Absolute Aminos and LPS Power are what I use (I've inadvertently done the same thing to my hammers on occasion; not sure why they sometimes shed polyps so easily).

You can dose alkalinity with any supplement: AquaForest, Nyos, Red Sea (etc.)

You should be fine. I accidentally knocked a bunch of polyps off my frogspawn last week. the head was much smaller, but its coming back now.
