Hi - My hammer has been looking pretty unhappy for the past two days. It has been in the tank for 8 months and went from one head to three a few months ago.

My parameters are largely in check (see below) but a few things that I have done recently: i) there may be a vermetid snail at the base which I tried to cut off today, ii) slightly re-directed the flow (very slightly) when I put the Nero 3 snail guard on last week, ii) Mg was in the 1,260 range yesterday so I dosed to get it up to 1,400 (I know, prob too big of a jump - was looking unhappy before I dosed). Any idea what happened / how to fix?

Parameters
Alk: 8.5
Phos: 0.04
Nitrate: <5 (API test, have salifert on the way)
Mg: 1,400
Salinty: 1.026
Temp: 77
Ca: 420
