Hammerspawn Polyps Base Question

I've had this hammerspawn for about 2 months. Full polyp extension and medium flow. Changed lighting intensity about 3 weeks ago based on par meter values. Recently noticed the polyp bases look more white than I remember. Thoughts?

Sal: 1.024, Nitrate: 2, Phosphates: 1, KH 10, Cal: 420, Mag: 1350, PH: 8.0
