handblown skimmer

And friend and I who blows glass for a living. Designed. This Skimmer based on the mame design. Its all one piece and made of Pyrex glass. It feels sturdy and well made plus I love its handblown! Matt who made it did a awesome job! Now I got make the holder and get some airstones. The holder will made from acrylic. And I'm thinking of useing sweetwater ceramic stones.

Lucky dog!! Mame's are expensive! I wanted one for my 8g but couldn't justify the expence-lol.
Have you thought about the wooden diffusers?

Yes I am lol. Im waiting till payday Next week to get some wooden Diffusers. And I'm going to try the glass fused just for fun. If you want ill give you matts email.

I had dropped my Skimmer and broke it. But matt fixed it for me to my great relief! Here it is fixed. It was really cool to watch. I haven't got my holder made yet.
