Hang on protein skimmer

I don't have a sump and since my aquarium has the filter system built in to the backside I can't really set up a sump.

That leaves me to looking at a hang on skimmer. Lots out there but figure user experience will lead me in a better decision on what to look at.

So if anyone has one. What do you recommend and for what reason.

I have used and like the aquaready 1.5 and bullet hob skimmers, I would recommend them anytime.

I have used the coralife and macro-aqua m-50 hob skimmers and would not recommend either of them.

I'm sure others will have other suggestion, good luck

I use a reef octopus classic 1000 on a 55 gallon. Very happy with it.

I've been using an Aquaready HOB 1.5 on my 75 gallon its been great for about 2 years now. Keeps my water clean and easy to use and realiable
