the new nitrate checker? yes... but only in standard mode (ie non-dilution).. and it always blink 5 (over the limit).. my nyos says in am b/t 3-5ppm so i am guessing closer to the 5. i have been too lazy to try the dilution process because it requires RODI and stuff (did i mention i am too lazy).

no but I do plan on getting this. I have a few hanna checkers.

I'll be following this
i would say if you confident your nitrates are below 5ppm and want to manage them, its easy to use.. anything over 5 and its a lot more work. there is no wiggle room - less than 5 easy, more.. a lot of work.

I am currently at 0 with any test kit I have ( 3 in total )

I want to see if dosing enough to increase 1ppm per day is actually raising 1ppm per day

Red sea makes a nice checker and you can run it in high range mode

Hanna Checkers just make it easier for me. Being colorblind is limiting when it comes to reading the color charts. If the checker is faulty, I'll continue bugging the significant other ;Blackeye
