HI-7037L 100% Sodium Chloride (NaCl) Calibration Solution and it’s valid for 5 years, so why should I buy the 35ppt sachets instead?
So would not be the same thing?

Myself, I would purchase the liquid instead of the packets.

It all really depends how much you will be testing and calibrating. I you are going to calibrate, for example 4 times a year. The packets would be a better choice.

FYI, the bottles are valid for (5) years, if unopened. Not, once they are opened....
I'm not sure how long they will be good once they are opened, Hanna doesn't say.

Also, that solution is not a 35 ppt sea water solution as far as I can tell. it says it's 100% NaCl. So that means its a bottle of 100% Sodium Chloride. I think it is for making your own solution at whatever level you want.

So not as easy as using the premixed sachets.

I’d be very cautious with the lower one as it says nothing that I can find about concentration or what sort of device one can use it for. The description is unbelievably bad, even in the specifications section.

it says its 100% NaCl. Which would mean its a 100% concentration of sodium chloride. Its not a 35ppt solution as far as I can tell.

It cannot be 100% NaCl and be a solution, which Hanna also claims it is.. Hanna has messed up the description and there’s no indication of what concentration it really is.
