Hanna Test Kits

We all know Hanna test kits are not cheap. If you had to buy one or two of them, which would you prioritize for a cycled, but very new reef tank?

I stopped using them (too expensive) and got Salifert test kits. Not quite as nice as you have to read it off a color chart, but accurate enough and far less expensive.

I’d prioritize nitrate and phosphate, since other methods either are not needed or are better done in other ways.

Alkalinity would be my number one. After that nitrate and phosphate. Not a fan of calcium and haven’t tried magnesium.
