I have to say this book half-way through nine chapters is amazing. So many things happening and the action never stops.

A must read so far....:)

i just got to ch20, but this is almost 9 hours of reading
i couldnt wait for the deluxe version to come in the mail so i just hopped over to barnes and noble and picked up another copy
im more than likely gunna read through the night though
only took breaks to use the internet a lil bit, and get some dinner
i wasnt very into harry potter until book 6 came out and thats when i started reading and took me a couple of weeks to read all 6 books and ever since, ive been waiting for this last book!
but after this what will i do?

I am up to Chap. 11 and loving it.

I feel the same way FateX8. I want to know who is going to die, but I don't want to know. I don't want it to end. I really enjoy the easy read.

ch26 now
ive read some spoilers because i really couldnt wait but the only problem with spoilers is that theyre not very thorough or detailed, hence the reading
got 10 more chapters left and the epilogue!
i thought i was almost done but guess not

I have yet to read one of the books...I've just seen the movies. Perhaps I will pick them all up so I can know what all happens.

finished around 7 today
took about 14 hours to read total
yeah the books are WAY more detailed and much better than the movies
decent ending dont wanna say anymore
i thought she would do a better closing

don't give it away but did it live up to your expectations?

There are very few movies that are as good as the books. I have only seen 1 that I thought was comparable and now I can't remember the name of that movie. I remember what it was about, but not the name at all. LOL

I love the movies. I started one of the books at one point but stopped. Perhaps I will see the current movie and then pick up the following books.

Endings rarely live up to expectations.

yes and no
i dont know how to say it without giving away a little bit
the overall book was good but there were little things i was looking for that wasnt there
she did a good job closing for the trio but the other characters are really up in the air, pretty much all you know is whos dead and whos alive

i also think that the movies would be better if you DIDNT read the books, like the order of pheonix is my fav book and ive read it like 10 times and no it in and out and the movie was REALLY dissappointing, but a lot of people that i know that havent read the books liked it

Finished last night. Book started off great, slowed down with all of the camping, and then picked up again. I thought the ending just came up and then it was all over. Could say more but don't want to spoil anything.
