Man, I've flown in and out of Hobby many times. That pic is crazy as well as some the weather channel showed of the airports. Keep safe and hope you Texan's get some relief soon, i know you're a strong bunch.

Im currently hosting a couple that were trapped in their vehicle on the road behind my house. The roads around here are very bad thanks to the bayou that is well above its banks.
My grandparents who live in bear creek (right by the addicks reservoir) had to be rescued, they are safe now.
My street is a bit flooded, but the water hasnt crested my driveway, and I still have power thankfully.
I seriously hope everyone else in and around town is safe!

Yes sir,
We are at Cullen park which is part of the reservoir but when I built this house I went 6' up over regular level.
Just water all around us and no where to go.
I might take the HD truck out to thank the 1000 National Guard members at the Katy HS for their service.

There is a rescue effort going on behind my house with a boat and all. Many more cars stranded there since my last post.

Thanks for checking on us my friend appreciate a lot.
Of course there are plenty more from Houston Texas on R2R and I like to hear how these folks are doing.
I'm doing good and last time I spoke to Dennis he was fine as well.
Many mandatory evacuations around me with helicopters and airboats, even the National Guard is doing it's thing.
They calling in the Army for looters as looting is taking it's toll as we speak
Worst part still to come as food supplies are low and ppl going nuts if they here a store got some supplies.
Many if not most fastfood and grocery stores are closed.
This will be a disaster area long after Harvey is gone and it will take years for ppl to rebuild.

Driving around now. Restaurants are open sporadically around the Montrose and Heights areas. Lines outside the grocery stores.
