So glad to hear that!!!!! @prsnlty
Thank you [emoji12]

My street is one of the few that got power turned on around here so now everyone's using mine home for hot showers, a hot meal, water and ice bottles (plus some laundry where we can fit it in). I froze a bunch of 2 and 3 liter soda bottles of ro and am giving them out tomorrow as a dual purpose chiller for coolers and drinking water. It's been SUPER busy at my house and will be tomorrow as well.

My daughters restaurant actually opened today as well so I'm babysitting tonight so she can go make some money. She desperately needs due to so many days off. All restaurants are super busy with lines down the street today that are open.

What did you do 4 days before Christmas on 12/21/'o8?
This is a used unit that I bought so no telling what the previous person did LOL. It was set at Auto reset and I turned that off. I assume that it would reset automatically to my last setting but apparently it reset to the original settings of the Apex

I did have a couple of mishaps when the power came back on. Lost the coffee pot, the power to one of my AI Sol blue led units and lost the blue channel on an sbreef led unit. I'm insured for electronics and appliance losses due to power surge or storms with our electric company. Never used it in 12 years. I think I will this time.

Yes sir,
We are at Cullen park which is part of the reservoir but when I built this house I went 6' up over regular level.
Just water all around us and no where to go.
I might take the HD truck out to thank the 1000 National Guard members at the Katy HS for their service.

I used to play tournament ball at Cullen.

We were toast. Lost dang near everything including her car. Thankfully she took the Expedition to the Med Center, or we'd have no vehicles at all. Had to be air boated out of our sub division (River Plantation) with 5 cats and a dog. This sucks hard.

You are right at the San Jac River my friend.
We were working in the Bentwater sub and some homes we flooded as well.
The opened the gates of Lake Conroe that was there luck but not yours as the San Jac River went in no time out the banks :(

Ya, there's a class action suit pending that we're watching closely. The claimants are making the case that the River Authority had ample time to lower the Lake Conroe pool in advance of the downpours to lessen the impact of the release.

In Houston for the 2 reservoirs "Barker and Addicks" neighborhoods filed also for a class action.
Did you had damage to your tank?

I don't actually have a home system, currently. I've been working on a 420 gal design for the living room for the last 4 months that is still on paper, so I dodged a major bullet there. Amazingly, we lost very little at the shop even though we briefly lost power and took a bit of water, so dodged a bullet there, as well. I don't think we lost a single coral - at least no large colonies.

This hurricane season is crazy! It looks like it's our turn here in New Orleans. Big prep day just to make sure we are covered. Tank maintenance, got the generator out and oiled, gassed, running smooth. Off to get supplies and extra fish food! Wish us luck!

You make out ok??
