Kinda anal about the color scheme and wanted it black or red. Unfortuantely it only comes in white for the dual media reactor. Has anyone painted theirs? and if so what paint did you use and any recommendations?

I was actually thinking about it but dont have enough outlets :X really just have one left and wanted to be simple and run 2 instead of 2 singles

Ah, gotcha. Well the mounting bracket looks to be metal and would a bit of sanding before painting. As far as painting the reactor heads goes; I would remove them from the mounting bracket, tape off any openings or anywhere you don't want paint, and give them a light scuff with a scotch pad before painting.

I don't think the type of paint will matter too much as long as you keep it off of anything that will be in constant contact with water.

I'd spray a layer on plastic adhesion promoting primer. I think Lowe's carries it now.
