Has my anemone reproduced?

I was getting ready for a water change and saw what looks like a new little anemone in my take. Has my bubble tip reproduced? Is there anything I should do in caring for it?
The first pic is my original anemone with the new one below it. The next pic is closer image of the new one, if that is really what it is.

I wish it was this easy but yes be proactive and treat it before it spreads

Sorry for the let down but unfortunately that is aptasia. You’ll want to get rid of it sooner than later. Aptasia x works great. Make sure you cover the entire disk and it’ll work really well.

Seems like my searches are leading to chemical treatments. I’m a bit uncomfortable with this idea and they all are accompanied by the product they are selling so I’m a little skeptical.

Are these helpful species helpful? I haven't looked at other compatabilities yet.

I have two ocellaris clowns, 3 lyretail anthias a lawn mower blenny, a fire shrimp (although I haven’t seen him in a while. He likes to hide), pipe coral, leather coral, a sand sifting starfish and the rainbow bubble tip anemone.

That's a crazy price.
Rarely is there only one. IME the pastes on the market like above just cause them to reproduce at a much faster rate. Maybe on a frag before adding it but in a DT no. Kalk past is easy and cheaper if you want to try that method. I keep my aiptasia confined to the overflows and sumps in my smaller tanks with peppermint shrimp in the DT.

Don't use chemicals it makes them spread like crazy. Can you pull the rock out of the tank and just take a flat head screwdriver and chip it off?

Peppermint shrimp work if you buy the right kind (algaebarn sell them). Fish are hit or miss and Berghias didn't do **** for me

My reaction was the same on the price. Was just the first one that came up. I found cheaper.

I been seeing mixed reviews on effectiveness and lots of folks saying that it causes faster reproduction.

Also out of stock in most places. Or almost 30 days out. I’ll look at some of the other brands and stop by my local store tomorrow.

Looked at file fish but I’d like to add corals as I gain experience.

Maybe treat and look at peppermint shrimp. Sounds like I’m in for ongoing treatment anyway.

I’m curious where the came from. I haven’t added anything to the take in over 6 months.

Just checked my local shop’s website. They have the peppermint shrimp in stock so I’m picking a few up tomorrow. I could use some more clean up crew anyway!

I’ll see is they all have some of the aiptasia x or f-aiptasia.

Keep an eye on the peppermint shrimp. When they run out of aiptasia to eat, there is the potential for them to go rogue and possibly eat other corals. Same goes with almost all other predators of aiptasia, except for Berghia, which unfortunately starve to death without any aiptasia to eat.
