Local guys give me heat, no pun intended, for changing to Halides and not doing water changes.

None of their business to be honest lol. Your tank your rules! Besides if it’s one thing I’ve learned throughout my entire life there is no one way of doing something successfully. People have shown success by doing things many diff ways.
