I do have a a smallish fan on the sump currently. I plan to ad another to the DT.

I also am building a turf scrubber and thinking I may try blowing air across the screen, turn it into sort of a mini evaporative cooler. Not sure how that would effect the algae growth though but willing to try. i like experimenting when i have time

Thin wall swing pipe is certainly a better choice than pex for thermal transfer. I would love to see your tanks! Are you in the technology park with the Natural Energy Lab? Reading about it now.
