See the screenshot from apex. Last 6 hours heater flatlined and then started moving higher. According to apex, heater has been off for like 3 hours. Temp still rising. Heater is in the sump. Tank is at my office so I am headed there now to try and figure out whats going on.

Circulation pumps are off and the lights are heating the tank.

So I reset the calibration on apex and appears to have fixed the problem for the moment. When I arrived at my office the temp of the tank was 76.5 so was definitely a probe malfunction. The apex was only installed like 3 weeks ago so its super new. No algae on the probe and was still exactly where it is supposed to be.

Check your temp probe I had one come off the probe holder and gave me funny readings but why it’s reading temp rising is wierd
It's the heat wave out there they get every winter.

Good news!
How warm does your office stay on the weekends?
