I'm glad to read that you decided to stick with it. It is an emotional experience to lose so much and have to rebuild. But now you have us. And believe me, there isn't a better forum around for knowledge, support, and overall kindness.

That leak sounds like a nightmare. A credit to u that you've stuck with it.

I almost didn't. I've been dealing with the same lfs for about 20years. When this happened I told them I was going to turn the tank into a fowlr. He practically begged me to try again. So I am.

Hi. My name is Mike and I'm glad I joined R2R. I started about 15 years ago with a 75 gl FOWLR. About 10 years ago I installed a custom 180 gl mixed reef in my wall, (something I will never do again). 2 years ago a bottom seal started leaking and the tank had to be torn down and rebuilt. It is still a work in progress. I found R2R in a round about way from Aqua SD. After 10 years I still have many questions.

@mfrumkin Welcome to R2R!!!

And . . .. Where glad you're here !!!

Welcome to the REEF!!

Late to the party but welcome to R2R.
