Hello, I'm new here and to saltwater aquariums. In the past I've had many freshwater aquariums up to 35g, but I didn't have space in my old house to keep them running so I've been out of the hobby for several years. I recently moved to a new house and have enough room for an aquarium again and big enough that I want to move on to saltwater. I'm still researching what to do but I plan on starting a build thread once I start making decisions and getting items, currently leaning towards a waterbox reef lx 230.5 or red sea reefer 900.

Here are some resources you may like

If you like to read

If you prefer video’s. First is “52 weeks of reefing” (lots of info but long and things have changed since it was made). Second video series is “5 minute guide”, shorter, good info

Welcome!! I have Red Sea 300 and have been very happy with it.. the Red Sea protein skimmer gave me some issues but since being replaced with a new one it’s great!good luck!

Thank you everyone for the welcome.

I have started watching the 52 week series and I'll be sure to check out the other two as well. The more information the better since I want to be successful as possible before risking the fish and coral.
