hi!! my name is sam, i'm from new jersey. i've lurked on a few threads before but i just recently decided to make my own account!

i'm semi-experienced with tanks, since i helped take care of a few at the university i went to (one freshwater and two saltwater). now that i've graduated, i'm hoping to set up a tank of my own some day! it's gonna be a while until i really get the ball rolling (trying to focus on my student loans first), but it's something i'm always thinking about. i'll probably start with freshwater before moving onto saltwater, but my ultimate dream is to have a pet octopus 😁
I've heard an Octopus is hard to keep contained. That will be a fun challenge!

Since you are waiting and doing it in the future, I'd suggest getting even a 10 gallon (even freshwater) setup. That can help you get acclimated to the daily routines, the test kit usages, etc. It is a fun hobby! I wish you lots of fun!
