thanks to all the replies! i feel like responding to this would be best. i will probably buy hannas as i go, but i wanted a non-electronic method (and know how to do it) as a base. thats the same reason i went hydros over apex... i bought red sea lights and they wouldnt connect to my wifi. So, wired for life critical systems, same kind of idea.Welcome to R2R! Don't be a stranger, dive right in!
Your list looks really good! When it comes time for a testing upgrade Hanna makes really nice testers. Once you get pass the cycle you really only need Alk, nitrate, phosphate, calcium, and magnesium if you feel like it, some do, some dont. Hannas alk test is really convenient if your testing often as it takes all of 45 seconds.
Also, if your ever looking at skimmers, I love my reef octopus, especially after having a cheap budget one for awhile, the reef octopus is so much better and worth the money.

the sump kit did come with a skimmer (https://sraquaristik.com/products/s...0-filtration-kit?_pos=20&_sid=5886644ea&_ss=r). The whole system is rated for 80 with heavy bio load, controllable pumps both return and skimmer.
I just 3d designed/printed this, on the topic of testing. ph,kh,ca,mg,po4,no3
