Thank you everyone. I do have a question that I posted elsewhere. No response. Our vectra return pump is confusing me. We did the calibration, with max flow at 65%. Trying to understand if that means when I set my flow percentage through the app to 100%, does that mean 100% of 65% or do I still have it set at 100% of it's flow rate(1400 GPH) I realize in my tank I won't get 1400GPH regardless, just trying to understand the calibration max flow and settings.

Welcome! Not sure about the Vectra pumps but intuitively, once calibrated at any level, setting to 100% is 100% operating power and you get whatever your pump gives at 100% power

Then what is the purpose of the calibration? From the description it seems like you calibrate the max flow so that if you vary the pump settings you would never exceed the max speed you calibrated for. Ecotech makes it sound like a failsafe to keep from overwhelming your plumbing,. Therefore if I set my max flow that my plumbing is capable of handling at 65%, then the new 100% would actually be 65% of the pumps flow capability....but maybe I am not understanding the reason for calibrating??
