Wondering what your thoughts on cycling a new tank with 50% water from a established tank and live sand. Will it still cycle normally or will I get a boost.

Oh and it's a 44gal he corner tank. Not my first salt water tank but it's been about 10yrs.

The water may help but the sand is what will carry the bacteria.
The bacteria that is needed lives on all the surfaces but staring with good chemistry from it.
